Analyze economic data to develop and present reports on industry trends and future forecasts. Research economic issues affecting industries, corporations and markets such as rates of inflation, unemployment and interest rates. Analyze and report on government policies that affect industries and corporations within coverage universe such as the CHIPS and Inflation Reduction Act. Build and maintain detailed economic models to analyze critical data using public sources, relevant industry publications, and statistical techniques. Present findings to management, recommend solutions to key economic problems and write weekly / quarterly preview notes by leveraging charts, tables and other economic reports. Advise management on key micro and macroeconomic issues affecting coverage, such as business and product cycles, exchange rates, taxes and health of supply chain. Craft research reports in order to establish company as a “Thought-Leader” in the space relating to coverage universe. Conduct surveys and collect various third-party economic data by working with economic consultants and sell-side analysts. Analyze critical economic data relating to the production and consumption of goods and services such as demographic trends, wage increases, housing starts and labor productivity
